Professional Services for Individual Support and Care

Sponsored residential services are services that are provided within the home of a sponsor (family or person) under the supervision of a DBHDS licensed provider. When you're looking for this type of support, Essential Family Services has the staff to assist.

The sponsor provides routine and safety support in addition to skill building. The sponsor will assist the individual with developing socialization skills, coping skills, and independence skills so they can live in the home and participate in community activities of their choosing.

When individuals receive these services, they live in a residence with a sponsor who provides constant support to them at all times. The individual will be able to participate in activities of their choice within the home and in the community.

The sponsor will assist them with daily living skills such as bathing, cleaning, etc. while they are receiving these services.
